- If the case is active through the Division of Child Support Enforcement then you can call them. But if he was just ordered to pay the daycare from his own pocket, you need to fill out the paperwork to receive child support, and go back to court. It's a huge paper trail, but worth it. Keep track of anything and everything you can girl... it will work out! Good Luck!
- More than likely you will have to go back to court especially if he tries to appeal it, but contact your local Child Support Division in you state first. My ex-brother-in-law was forced to pay hundreds (almost thousands) of dollars in back child support. Do away with dead-beat dads (and moms)!!
- I suggest that you attempt to resolve this issue out of court... Anytime you go back to court he can file a motion to reduce his payments if childcare is different for any reason or your incomes are different due to marriage, etc....
- If you have a court order, then you should be able to get it enforced without going back to court. I would try having his wages garnished...that way the money gets taken out of his paycheck before he even sees it. On the other hand, I can see how the week on/week off visitation would be difficult. You may want to go back to court for a modification of the visitation schedule if it's not working for you. You should be able to find out information about what his child support payments should be based on his income and how many kids he has. That way you will know if you should go to court and seek an increase in support payments. Remember, it becomes more costly to raise a child the older they get, so you may be entitled to more money from him. Good luck!
- If its court ordered then hes in contempt of that order. Make sure you have proof and take it back to court or even submit a letter to the judge who made the order explaining the situation. Hes breaking a court order and will not get away with it. Its been how long? Dont wait another day!
