I have a worksheet on Law of Detachment and Law of Syllogism. I will just post 2 questions here. Please answer and try to explain. ________________________________________________ Determine if a valid conclusion can be reached from the two true statements using Law of Detachment or Law of Syllogism. If a valid conclusion is possble, state it and the law that is used. If a valid conclusion does not draw, write no conclusion 1. If Jim is a Texan, then he is an American Jim is a Texan Next section. Determine if statment (3) follows from statements (1) and (2) by the law of Detachment of the Law of Syllogism. If it does, state which law was used. If it does not, write invalid. ___________________________________________________ 6. (1) If the measure of an angle is greater then 90, then it is obtuse. (2) the measure of angle T is greater then 90. (3) measure of angle T is obtuse.

1. number 3 and 1 are wrong if 2 is right because if a angle measure is 180 then it is a straight angle.
